5 Rock FGZ Rule

We are now playing with the 5 rock rule in the FGZ (Free Guard Zone) as per Curling Canada rules in effect starting this season. Under the 5-Rock rule, teams are not permitted to eliminate their opponent's rocks that are sitting in the free guard zone until five stones have been played in every end. Players can still hit the guards; they just are not allowed to knock them out of play.

Round 2 Is Underway

Round 2 is underway and will finish on Feb 9. After that, the playoffs will begin. Playoff seeding will be determined by your team's performance in the the 2 round robins.

Each team will be assigned a weekend to produce Instagram content for the apollocurling account. Please tag apollocurling in your post and it will be reposted. If you don't have an Instagram account, please email your photo(s) to the organizers.

Spare Fees

If your team needs a spare player over the season, please choose someone from the Spare List. Your team will be charged $10 per spare per game. It is up to your team whether or not you recover the money from the spare player. Teams will be sent an invoice at the end of each month if they have spare fees owing.
